Victoria

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union College and a Master of Arts in Museum Science from the University of Washington. Her specialties include public outreach, communication & education, genetics and marine biology. Mrs. Smith has worked with a wide range of organizations including NOAA, the New England Aquarium and Harvard Medical School.

Chad R.A. Smith,

Operations Director, CFO

Victoria

Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Mr. Smith also holds a current US Merchant Marine Deck license for vessels of unlimited tonnage. In addition to serving on a wide range of vessels including oil tankers and passenger vessels, Chad was awarded the Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medal in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has served as a Dive Master at the former nuclear weapons test site of Bikini Atoll, is a certified NOAA Working Diver and has explored famous shipwrecks such as the Andrea Doria and the Empress of Ireland. Chad is the diving supervisor for Darkwater Marine.

David S. Faye, Esq.

Head of Legal Affairs, Technical Diver

David is the head of the law firm David S. Faye & Associates of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mr. Faye holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Fitchburg State College and a Juris Doctorate in Law from Boston University. Mr. Faye divides his time between practicing Law and exploring the world's oceans. Dave recently became one of the first divers to explore the wreck of the steamship Portland, over 400 feet below the waters of Massachusetts Bay.

David R. Cunningham

Captain

Dave on NedDavid holds a Bachelor of Science from Massachusetts Maritime Academy and a current US Merchant Marine Deck License for vessels of unlimited tonnage as well as Master of vessels up to 1600 gross tons. A former Naval Surface Warfare Officer and life long New England resident David has experience on a wide variety of vessels and regions including Bulk Cargo in the Great Lakes, Tankers and Tugs on the East Coast and the US Navy Destroyer USS Mitscher (DDG-57). David's accomplishments outside the maritime field include running the Boston Marathon and marching in President Obama's inauguration.

Nina comes from a long line of mariners and US Navy Sailors. A skilled deckhand, Nina brings a strong work ethic and a great attitude to the M/V Ned Nusunginya based in Boston, Massachusetts. A veteran of Ford Motor Company, this New Hampshire native's adaptability, professionalism and good judgement has made her an asset to the company.
